MY STORY
Who is Rosa Icela Carter?

Rosa Icela Carter is a Rabun County‑based global real estate advisor with Mountain Sotheby’s International Realty, helping buyers and sellers in Clayton and the North Georgia mountains navigate one of life’s most important investments with clarity and care.
Drawing on a global background that spans Mexico, San Diego, and international travel, she brings a refined eye for lifestyle and design to mountain, lakefront, and in‑town homes throughout Rabun County.
As a fully bilingual English‑Spanish advisor, she serves both local and Hispanic clients in and beyond Georgia, combining business training, marketing experience, and deep local knowledge to guide every step of the buying and selling process

Before North Georgia

Before moving to the North Georgia mountains, I spent much of my life in urban San Diego and remain closely connected to my native Mexico and the California coast. Experiencing different cultures, landscapes, and lifestyles through travel, food, music, and art has broadened my perspective and sharpened my aesthetic eye.

For you, this means a global viewpoint on what makes a place feel like home and an ability to see both the emotional and investment value in a property. Real estate is multi‑dimensional and one of life’s greatest investments, and the perspective, empathy, pragmatism, and judgment I gained from these experiences now go directly into the advice I provide as your global real estate advisor in North Georgia.
My Professional Life
Today, as a global real estate advisor with Mountain Sotheby’s International Realty, I draw on my business, marketing, and media experience to guide clients through each decision with perspective and confidence.

My years in accounting developed the financial discipline and attention to detail I now bring to pricing strategy, contract terms, and investment decisions.

Time spent in marketing and recruitment sharpened my ability to position each property, understand what different buyers are truly looking for, and communicate clearly throughout the process.

Hosting a local morning news program taught me to tell stories that resonate, a skill I now use to present homes in a way that captures both their features and the lifestyle they offer.
